A Kingdom is Born!

Fort Evergreen, formerly the Staglords base of operations, has been successfully established along with a few other settlements in the wilderness. A year later, the new kingdom though struggling is beginning to thrive. (600XP)

Now secure, Duncan and the others begin exploring west – running into a group of Gnomes who say there is some sort of dispute going on with some loggers off in the distance.

After securing the glade which a Nyxie was defending – the group moved east and camped overnight. During the watch, an owlbear attacked the camp but was easily defeated by the explorers before settling back to sleep (300XP)

Slade, still in his bed shorts merely looked up – looking disinterested and fell back asleep ignoring the newly bleeding Owlbear carcass.

Encounter: Scythe Tree (800XP)
After a days march across the forest, the expedition reached a pond containing beautiful oak trees, one of which containing a Dryad. After Duncan and the others explained the situation with the Nyxie and the loggers, a strategy was developed to defeat the evil tree and continue the symbiotic relationship between the private logging company and the Dryad.

The battle was pitched – even after the Cavalier clearly wanted to burn it to the ground and risk a forest fire. But stronger heads prevailed and though tough the battle was won. The Dryad awarded feather tokens for the loss of the trees earlier. And the expedition returned to Fort Evergreen.

The Gold Mine & The Temple

After several weeks of clearing out mites, kobolds, and deadly spiders, the hearty group has stumbled upon a mighty gold mine… okay not some mighty. But it will enlarge our pockets and make it possible to bring more civilization to these untamed lands!

After setting up the mining camp and the old bandit camp – the party headed deeper into the woods – discovering a druid that had gone mad and an old temple to a forgotten god.

Now making more headway, the adventurers must make their way through the Stolen Lands and secure it before more of the Staglord’s followers close in on them!

There's Gold in them....plains?

After taking out a bandit camp, coming across and removing a dreaded poacher from the Greenbelt lands, we struck upon an awesome site… A gold mine! Nestled in a series of caverns a day and a half ride from Oleg’s, the use and wealth of this find was considerable.

Using the old bandit camp and refortifying it, the party decided to use it as a new base and supply camp for clearing out the surrounding lands. With troops at Oleg’s and now a mining base, civilization is starting to flow into these wild lands with great frequency. Though trying to keep everything in harmony in nature is a challenge, Tess, Dekyon and the others are more than up to ridding the land of denizens while at the same time preserving nature and the bio-diversity around it.
